1.Shoaib Akhtar (Pakistan)

First of the fastest bowlers in the world is Shoaib Akhtar. He comes under the first fastest Bowler in the world. He recorded fastest delivery 163.3km/hr against England at capetown. He bowled the fastest ball in international cricket during the world cup 2003. No one could break this record of his.His fast bowling was always in the headlines amidst all the action of cricket. Akhtar hit 178 Test wickets and 247 ODI wickets for Pakistan.

 

2.Shaun Tait(Australia)

Shaun Tait known for his erratic bowling. Shaun Tait is the second fastest bowler in the world. Shaun Tait played only three 3 Tests, and also took  five wickets and 35 ODI for Australia between 2006-2016. Shaun Tait threw his fastest ball against England at a speed of 161.1 km/hr. Tait was also playing for Rajasthan Royal, Kolkata Knight Riders,Adelaide Strikers, Hobart Hurricanes, and Melbourne Renegades. Tait retired only when he was only 25 years old because of injury.

3.Brett lee (Australia) 

Brett lee is  the Third  fastest bowler in the world. He is a part of an Australian team.The new South Wales player was a formidable Australian player in the early 2000s.He was a regular feature with the likes of Glenn McGrath and Shane Warne.

Lee bowled for Australia sporadically between 2003 and 2007. He took  310 Test wickets,280 ODI and 487 first class wickets. Brett lee threw the fastest ball against the opposition of New Zealand at Napier in 2005. The ball was threw at a speed of 161.1km/hr. Brett lee was the first cricket player to take a hat trick in Twenty20 international cricket.

4. Jeffrey Thomson (Australia)

Jeffrey Thomson is the  fourth one of the fastest bowlers of his generation in the world. Jeffy Thomson started his career  in test cricket in 1962 against Pakistan,and ODI debut was in 1975 against England. Thomson delivered his fastest delivery at a speed of 160.6km/hr against the West Indies in 1975. Jeffrey Thomson took 200 test wickets and 55 ODI Wickets during his time and was also awarded as the fastest bowler in 1979.

5. Mitchell Stars(Australia)

Mitchell is one of the fastest  bowlers in the world .Stars delivered his fastest delivery at a speed 160.4 km/hr in a Test match against New Zealand in 2015. He took 244 Test wickets and 184 ODI Wickets.Stars was also part of the Australian cricket team that won the world cup in 2015 and also awarded for his best performance. Stars is famous for his fast bowling. Stars started his career in the test on 1 December 2011 against New zealand. His brother was also from a sports background.
